After stunning the world with an absolutely insane overhead goal against Juventus in the Champions League and scoring a sumptuous volley in the Madrid derby, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has now produced a ‘brilliant’ gesture off the field as well.
CR7 is well known for producing pieces of magic while on the pitch, but this time, he has amazed one of his former club’s upcoming stars by showcasing his generosity behind the scenes.
The Portuguese star has gifted young striker, Marcus Rashford, a new pair of red Nike Air Max 97 CR7 shoes.
Rashford thanked the five-time Ballon d’Or winner by uploading a picture of the red boots on his Instagram handle, along with the caption: “Thanks for the gift @cristiano.”

Ronaldo, who has collaborated with Nike to produce the striking £145 shoes, may not have bonded with the 20-year-old during his time at Old Trafford, but the Galactico certainly didn’t hesitate to send a pair in order to boost Rashford’s confidence.

They have basically been discreetly designed to pay homage to the Portuguese’s mother, who used to patch his shoes back together when he was younger because he would create holes in them by playing the sport.
The trainers carry Ronaldo’s ‘CR7’ mark on the heel inside a golden patch along with the ‘air max’ branding, also in a golden shade.
Meanwhile, Rashford, would undeniably be waiting to test his new top-notch trainers.
