All has not been well at Man United ever since Jose Mourinho publicly expressed his admiration for the city of Paris and its footballing giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Those comments sparked enormous speculation surrounding the manager’s future, and subsequent defeats to Huddersfield Town and Chelsea in the Premier League made matters even worse for the Reds.

However, recent reports have hinted that the club’s board is finally set to calm the waters by offering the Portuguese a new and improved deal, and secure his long-term future in Manchester.

But whilst it appeared that things could be heading in a positive direction once again – something that was also aided by the returns of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in United’s 4-1 hammering of Newcastle – Mourinho seems to have dropped yet another disruptive bombshell.

According to The Sun, the Special One has supposedly angered the Man United staff by deciding to hold a training session at 5 p.m. on Christmas Day.

The Red Devils face a busy festive period ahead, and they are set to start the month of December with 3 massive games in the span of 8 days, as they will face Arsenal on December 2nd, CSKA Moscow on 5th, and Man City on 8th.

Following the Manchester Derby, United will visit West Brom on the 17th, and then face Leicester City on 23rd, Burnley on 26th, and finally, Southampton on the 30th.

In order to cope with this fixture congestion, Mourinho has scheduled an unconventional training session on the 25th of December, which has caused an uproar amongst the Mancunian outfit’s working staff.

And to make matters even worse, Jose wants the training session to be held at Old Trafford, which will require the involvement of 70 members of the staff, as opposed to Carrington, where merely 20 workers would have done the job.

A bizarre move from the tactician, but this unorthodox tactic could end up becoming a masterstroke if it helps the Red Devils catch the Citizens at the top of the Premier League table. Only time will tell.
